Yaamava' Resort & Casino: Parking Structure Main Entrance

Yaamava', voted USA Today 10Best readers' Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas (2023–2026), welcomes most guests through its parking structure, which makes that entrance its real front door. We remodeled it end to end.

The build

  • Entry facade: a full redesign of the main entrance facade

  • Column wraps: custom steel-framed column surrounds finished in Chemetal decorative metal

  • Overhead features: suspended entry and column-surround elements overhead

  • Signature logo: a laser-cut brass Yaamava' logo between the elevators

  • Paint: the entire entry area repainted

The challenge

  • Seismic engineering: much of the work hangs overhead in an active earthquake zone. Every overhead element was engineered to California seismic standards, with engineering specs reviewed and signed off before install.

  • Expectations and schedule: I set clear expectations with the client from kickoff on scope, sequencing, and schedule.

The result

A new front door for one of California's top casino resorts, delivered on schedule.
